Angel Reiki is the name we use today to identify the Divine Energy channelled from the Angelic Realm. Angel Reiki energy is a gentle, pure and loving energy that is very powerful. The defining difference between Usui Reiki and Angel Reiki is the way the practitioner hands over the process  to the Angelic Realm.

It is sometimes mistakenly assumed that Angel Reiki is a newer version of Mikao Usui's Reiki system. The Angelic Realm gave us Angel Reiki during Lemurian times. This pure energy was used in Atlantis and was lost to us when Atlantis perished. Mikao Usui simply discovered it again during his spiritual enlightenment. It is not surprising that new information is being channelled all the time, I am sure every practitioner has experienced the feeling of additional help during Reiki sessions. I have had many reports of clients feeling extra sources of energy other than my hands.

The practitioner creates a sacred portal around the recipient. Crystals and images may be used to do this. The intent is set and the practitioner invites Angels of the Angelic Dominions, Galatic Healers and Ascended Masters to assist with the treatment. Crystals may also be placed on the recipients body. The practitioner is a channel for the energy and trusts that the wisdom of the Angelic Realm directs the  energy to where it is needed. At the end of the session the practitioner will say a few words of gratitude before grounding the recipient and closing the portal.
